Description
This is a lovely collection of 50 modern used stamps from independent Croatia (i.e. issues from 1991 and beyond), all off paper, all different, and featuring a variety of commemoratives and definitives.
The stamps in the pictures are the exact ones that you will receive.
We have been through to remove any damaged stamps, but have included a couple of spares in case we’ve missed any.
The stockcards are for illustrative purposes only, and are not included.
About Croatia
Croatia declared independence from Yugoslavia in 1991 and began issuing its own stamps, inscribed “Republika Hrvatska”, the same year.
Previously, during the Second World War, German and Italian occupying forces produced stamps for the “Independent State of Croatia” (inscribed “Nezavisna Država Hrvatska”, or “ND Hrvatska”) between 1941 and 1951.
