Description
1999 Guernsey issue of four values (20p, 25p, 30p and 38p) commemorating that year’s Europa theme of “Nature Reserves and Parks”, alongside celebrating Herm Island’s past local carriage labels.
Two of the values feature the Europa logo (25p Atlantic puffin and 30p small heath butterfly). The other two depict the burnet rose (20p) and shells on Shell Beach (38p).
Very unusually for an official postal administration issue, each value also depicts a Cinderella stamp – namely, one of the stamps from Herm’s 1954 Triangular Issue.
Listed in Stanley Gibbons’ catalogue as SG 833-836.
U/M / Unmounted Mint / MNH / Mint Never Hinged.
