Description

1994 Eurotunnel miniature sheet of four 55p stamps, issued on 27 June, each one overprinted with the words “RAILWAY LETTER”.

An earlier version of this miniature sheet was issued on 6 May – the Channel Tunnel’s opening day – but Royal Mail apparently insisted that the “Railway Letter” wording be added, to avoid any scope for confusion.
