About Jura
Jura is an island in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland, situated north east of Islay. It is the eighth largest Scottish island in terms of area (142 sq mi), but only the 31st in terms of population (196). Jura's low population density is partly the consequence of its bare and mountainous terrain.
A single Jura issue was produced in 2020, depicting a range of local scenes. The stamps are fantasy Cinderellas with no postal function, and were created by the same individual - a regular visitor to the island - as the Islay and Colonsay issues that appeared around the same time.
