A brand-new copy of the first and only edition of Jon Aitchison’s excellent “Channel Island Locals” catalogue, published in 2003. The catalogue is spiral bound, with 128 pages.

The catalogue is divided into nine sections, covering: Bailiwick of Guernsey island issues (including Alderney, Brecqhou, Herm, Jethou and Lihou locals, as well as smaller islands; Bailiwick of Jersey island issues; French Channel Island issues, including Chausey; shipping companies and maritime mail, including Commodore’s Guernsey-Alderney and Guernsey-Sark issues; railway companies; airlines; strike posts; tourism and trade labels; and metermarks.

The catalogue includes black and white illustrations and mint and used prices throughout. Though the catalogue is now 20 years old, we do not believe that quoted prices have changed significantly over the period, and with a few exceptions – such as Brecqhou, which continued issuing stamps until 2013 – there have been no new issues of note since publication.
