Six of 16 stamps from Uzbekistan’s 1993 overprints set, listed in Stanley Gibbons’ catalogue as SG 17-18, 22-23 and 25-26 (with a combined catalogue value of £27), and all featuring surcharged values and the name “Ўзбекистон” (“Uzbekistan”) overprinted on stamps of the USSR.

The selection includes:
