Whenever we acquire new stock at auction, it’s normally only the perfect, unmounted mint (mint never hinged) items that make it into the shop – unless we happen to come across something particularly rare that’s hinged! Similarly, we normally only list cancelled-to-order (CTO) stamps that are unhinged.

That means we always have a box full of mounted mint and mounted CTO island issues that we cannot sell individually. So, we’ve now gathered together local issues from some of the smaller Channel Islands in packets of 25, and are selling them here at a great-value price.

The image gives an indication of what a typical packet looks like, but each lot will be slightly different, with a breakdown as follows:

• Alderney (including Commodore Shipping and Alderney Parcel Delivery) – 8 to 9
• Brecqhou (Brechou) – 1 to 2
• Herm Island – 6
• Sark (Commodore Shipping) – 9 to 10.

We have removed any damaged stamps that we spotted – in short, all the stamps you will get are hinged, but otherwise in excellent condition. We hope our customers will enjoy what they find!
