Rarely seen £1 local stamp for Godrevy, privately created by Nigel Keegan in 2011, and depicting a view of the island and its lighthouse.

Issued on 3 February 2011, Keegan’s fantasy stamps were typically released in small quantities of just a few hundred.

About Godrevy

Godrevy is a five-hectare island in St Ives Bay in Cornwall. It is uninhabited, but is home to Godrevy Lighthouse, operated by Trinity House. 

A pair of fantasy stamps for Godrevy were issued in 2011 - seemingly in perforate and imperforate versions - and were the creation of the late Nigel Keegan, a well-known Cinderella enthusiast. Nigel produced many pleasing private labels for islands such as Flat Holm, Mullion Island and Birnbeck Island during the 2000s and 2010s.
