To be honest, we’re not quite sure what these are – each one is a coloured slip of paper inscribed with the words ‘Items – Date – Docketed’, with a 1996 postmark-style Exeter cancel. There are five such labels included here.

However, they’re an intriguing piece of (perhaps) postal history that may be of interest to someone who knows more than we do what they are!
