An original print copy of the January 1973 issue (volume 13, number 1) of The Cinderella Philatelist, the quarterly magazine of the Cinderella Stamp Club.

The free gift that came with the magazine – an Indonesian 1 rupiah fiscal stamp – is still included.

The illustration shows the contents list, and the first two pages inside.

Printed slightly smaller than A5, this 24-page magazine is in good condition for its age.

About The Cinderella Philatelist

The Cinderella Philatelist is the quarterly journal of the Cinderella Stamp Club, which was founded in 1959 and describes itself as "an association of philatelists, amateur and professional, whose interests lie in local stamps; telegraph stamps; railway stamps; revenues/fiscals; forgeries; bogus and phantom issues; poster stamps; Christmas, Red Cross, TB and other charity seals; registration labels and airmail etiquettes; [and] advertising and exhibition labels."

Now into its 65th year, or volume, The Cinderella Philatelist has been published continuously since 1961, and also now comprises the British Private Posts Newsletter (BPPN), which gives a regular round-up of new island issues, fantasy stamps, railway letter stamps, and other Cinderellas created in or for the UK.

Graham from Graham Land Stamps has been the current editor of the BPPN since April 2022.

Back issues of the magazine are occasionally available on auction sites; we are digitising the copies that we have, and selling surplus print magazines via our shop.
