Cinderellas

A ‘Cinderella stamp’ is a label that looks like a postage stamp, but that has not been issued by an official, government postal administration for postal purposes.

Cinderellas are not usually listed by the recognised stamp catalogues, such as Stanley Gibbons, but are nonetheless widely collected by philatelists. Popular types include local stamps (such as those issued by islands off the coast of Britain), railway letter labels, Scout and Christmas posts, fantasy issues, charity seals, advertisement labels, and telegraph stamps.

We stock a growing range of Cinderellas, particularly local stamps. For more information about collecting Cinderellas, pay a visit to the Cinderella Stamp Club website.
